Return Policy


Some items are not returnable including:
• Any product which comes into contact with the mouth, ears, etc. such as mouthpieces, ear plugs, reeds, ligatures, reed cases, recorders, kazoos, harmonicas, and whistles
• All printed material such as sheet music and books due to copyright concerns on illegal copies
• CDs, DVDs, or software due to copyright concerns on illegal copies
• Cleaning and maintenance products such as swabs, oils, brushes, polish, etc.
• Any used, clearance, or items marked or implied to be sold "as is"
• Special order items

Refunds will not be issued for services rendered including
• Lesson fees and associated payments
• Rental fees and associated payments
• Repair fees and associated payments

Eligible items are returnable within 14 days from date of purchase at the sole discretion of on-duty management provided that customer provides original receipt and Product remains unopened in its original packaging in new, salable condition. If these requirements are met, refund will only be given as store credit.

Management reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of no less than 10% and no more than 50% at its discretion

New instruments are returnable within 5 days at the discretion of Separk Music's owner provided that:
• The instrument is exactly as purchased with no visible signs of use or wear
• The customer has the original receipt and returns the instrument in person
• The customer has a valid reason for the return subject to discretion of on-duty management
A restocking fee of 10% may be added upon the instruments inspection by Separk Music's repair technicians. 
Separk Music reserves the right to offer exchange, store credit, or refund by corporate check at its discretion.

Used instruments are returnable within 5 days at the discretion of Separk Music's owner provided that:
• The instrument is not a clearance item, marked or implied to be sold "as is"
• The customer has the original receipt and returns the instrument in person
• The customer has a valid reason for the return subject to discretion of on-duty management
A restocking fee of 20% may be added upon the instruments inspection by Separk Music's repair technicians.
Separk Music reserves the right to offer exchange or store credit options at its discretion.

Special Order Policy

  • Payment [or management-approved deposit] due when order is placed
  • No cancellations
    • Exceptions made for educational/institution accounts with credit terms
  • No returns
  • Special orders may include additional charges for freight
  • As these items ship from manufacturers/publishers/distributors we cannot guarantee an arrival date but will make every effort to fulfill orders in a timely manner.

Repair Shop Policy

  • All repairs subject to $5.00 shop fee [covers tools and consumable supplies used in repairs]
  • Separk Music is not responsible for personal items left in instrument cases
  • Unclaimed instruments will be sold at discretion of Separk Music 30 days after pickup notification
  • Returned rental instruments needing additional repairs will be charged with customer notification within 30 days.
  • Final invoice balance may differ from repair quote
