Store Policies


Return Policy

  • All returns/exchanges are at the discretion of on-duty management
  • All returns/exchanges must be made within 14 days of purchase
  • All returns/exchanges require original sales receipt
  • All returned items are subject to re-stocking fees (may be up to 50% for worn or damaged items)
  • All returns are for store credit only
    • Any refunds are at the discretion of on-duty management
The following items are not returnable:
  • Print Music (sheet or digital) [for copyright reasons]
  • All items marked as ‘clearance’ or 'final sale' or 'as-is'
  • All CDs/DVDs/Software
  • Open-Box Cleaning/Maintenance supplies
  • Open-Box Mouthpieces/Ligatures/Patches
  • Open-Box Reeds/Reed Cases
  • All Recorders/Whistles/Kazoos/Harmonicas or other small retail wind instruments
  • All Special-Order Items

Special Order Policy

  • Payment [or management-approved deposit] due when order is placed
  • No cancellations
    • Exceptions made for educational/institution accounts with credit terms
  • No returns
  • Special orders may include additional charges for freight
  • As these items ship from manufacturers/publishers/distributors we cannot guarantee an arrival date but will make every effort to fulfill orders in a timely manner.

Repair Shop Policy

  • All repairs subject to $5.00 shop fee [covers tools and consumable supplies used in repairs]
  • Separk Music is not responsible for personal items left in instrument cases
  • Unclaimed instruments will be sold at discretion of Separk Music 30 days after pickup notification
  • Returned rental instruments needing additional repairs will be charged with customer notification within 30 days.
  • Final invoice balance may differ from repair quote
