Ryan Keith

Ryan is a passionate musician who utilizes his education and his experience as a performer to help his students grow!

Ryan Keith is currently a second year graduate student studying Violin Performance at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Ryan began playing the violin at age 10 through his school’s orchestra program and began private study at age 12. A graduate of Kansas State University, Ryan studied primarily with Cora Cooper and has performed in masterclasses given by Lawrence Dutton, Immanuel Abraham and Elena Urioste. Ryan has competed in numerous competitions, earning 2nd prize in the Wichita Symphony’s Youth Talent Competition and 1st prize in K-State’s Honors Recital Competition. A passionate chamber musician, Ryan attended the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival in the summer of 2021 and has volunteered for the Chamber Music at the Barn summer festival. An avid teacher, Ryan currently teaches at Separk Music and the Winston-Salem Symphony’s P.L.A.Y. Music program.
